My Story
Hi, I’m Ashley — an attorney, snowboarder, and lifelong traveler on a mission to find the perfect balance between work and play.
Raised on the East Coast, I studied Parks, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Vermont before chasing my passion for the outdoors into the snowboarding industry. In 2014, I swapped my snowboard boots (temporarily) for law books and enrolled at Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles. After earning my J.D. in 2017, I passed the California Bar Exam and began my legal career at Action Sports Law Group (ASLG) in Oceanside, California, where I specialized in athlete immigration law, contract review, and sports-related issues for top professional athletes around the world.
In 2019, I moved to Bend, Oregon, to merge my love for law with my passion for the mountains. Today, as part of Evashevski Elliott PC, I help individuals and families in Central Oregon navigate a wide range of legal challenges with clarity, care, and confidence.
Outside the office, you’ll find me chasing fresh powder, searching the globe for the best surf breaks, and exploring destinations through their food, architecture, and local culture. From mountain towns to coastal hideaways, I believe the journey to true work-life balance is as rewarding as the destinations themselves.
This blog is where I share my experiences — both in the legal world and across the world map — as I continue the adventure of building a life filled with purpose, travel, and the pursuit of balance.
